Your First Quote in 5 Minutes

Now that setup is complete, let’s create your first professional quote:

1. Open the Quote Form

  1. Go to Quotes → Create Quote
  2. You’ll see a clean, modern interface with:
    • Left Panel: Sakurato branding + license status
    • Center Panel: Quote editor (form fields)
    • Right Panel: Live PDF preview

2. Fill in Customer Details

Top Section:

  • Customer Name: Enter client’s name
  • Address: Client’s full address
  • Date: Today’s date (pre-filled, editable)
  • Offer Number: Auto-generated or custom

Greeting Text:

  • Default text is pre-loaded from your settings
  • Edit as needed for this specific customer

3. Add Items with Pricing

Pricing Table:

  1. Click Add Item button
  2. Fill in for each item:
    • Description: Product/service name
    • Quantity: Number of units (default: 1)
    • Net Price: Price per unit
    • VAT %: Tax rate (default: 23%)
  3. Gross Price and Total calculate automatically
  4. Add more items as needed
  5. Final Total appears at the bottom

Quick Tips:

  • Click Clear All Items to start over
  • Items can be edited anytime
  • VAT % can be changed per item

4. Add Optional Sections

Payment Terms:

  • Enter payment conditions (e.g., “50% advance, 50% on delivery”)

Delivery Time:

  • Specify lead time (e.g., “8-10 weeks”)

Warranty:

  • Warranty details (e.g., “5-year warranty from date of acceptance”)

Notes:

  • Additional terms, conditions, or important information

5. Add Photos (Optional)

Image Gallery Section:

  1. Click Add Photo button
  2. Select image from WordPress Media Library (or upload new)
  3. Add up to 4 photos (Basic) or unlimited (Premium)
  4. Images appear in a grid layout in the PDF

Recommended:

  • Size: 800x600px or larger
  • Format: JPG or PNG
  • Show your products, previous work, or project details

6. Technical Sections (Premium)

If you have Premium, you can add detailed technical descriptions with rich text formatting:

  1. Click Add Section (e.g., Construction, Steps, Railing)
  2. Use the Rich Text Editor:
    • Bold, italic, underline
    • Bullet lists, numbered lists
    • Links
  3. Sections appear in the PDF with professional formatting

7. Save Your Offer

Two Options:

Option A: Save to WordPress

  1. Click 💾 Save button (top toolbar)
  2. Offer is saved to database with auto-generated ID
  3. You can reload it later from the list

Option B: Just Generate PDF (without saving)

  1. Skip saving if you don’t need to track this offer
  2. Go directly to Print/Share

8. Generate PDF or Public Link

🖨️ Print PDF:

  1. Click Print button
  2. Browser print preview opens
  3. Select Save as PDF or print directly
  4. PDF includes all sections, images, and branding

🔗 Generate Public Link:

  1. Click Generate Link button
  2. Secure URL is created (e.g., yoursite.com/offer/abc123/)
  3. Copy link and send to client via email/messenger
  4. Client can:
    • View the offer online
    • Accept or decline with one click
    • Download PDF (Premium only)
    • Add comments (Premium only)
