Now that setup is complete, let’s create your first professional quote:
1. Open the Quote Form
- Go to Quotes → Create Quote
- You’ll see a clean, modern interface with:
- Left Panel: Sakurato branding + license status
- Center Panel: Quote editor (form fields)
- Right Panel: Live PDF preview
2. Fill in Customer Details
Top Section:
- Customer Name: Enter client’s name
- Address: Client’s full address
- Date: Today’s date (pre-filled, editable)
- Offer Number: Auto-generated or custom
Greeting Text:
- Default text is pre-loaded from your settings
- Edit as needed for this specific customer
3. Add Items with Pricing
Pricing Table:
- Click Add Item button
- Fill in for each item:
- Description: Product/service name
- Quantity: Number of units (default: 1)
- Net Price: Price per unit
- VAT %: Tax rate (default: 23%)
- Gross Price and Total calculate automatically
- Add more items as needed
- Final Total appears at the bottom
Quick Tips:
- Click Clear All Items to start over
- Items can be edited anytime
- VAT % can be changed per item
4. Add Optional Sections
Payment Terms:
- Enter payment conditions (e.g., “50% advance, 50% on delivery”)
Delivery Time:
- Specify lead time (e.g., “8-10 weeks”)
Warranty:
- Warranty details (e.g., “5-year warranty from date of acceptance”)
Notes:
- Additional terms, conditions, or important information
5. Add Photos (Optional)
Image Gallery Section:
- Click Add Photo button
- Select image from WordPress Media Library (or upload new)
- Add up to 4 photos (Basic) or unlimited (Premium)
- Images appear in a grid layout in the PDF
Recommended:
- Size: 800x600px or larger
- Format: JPG or PNG
- Show your products, previous work, or project details
6. Technical Sections (Premium)
If you have Premium, you can add detailed technical descriptions with rich text formatting:
- Click Add Section (e.g., Construction, Steps, Railing)
- Use the Rich Text Editor:
- Bold, italic, underline
- Bullet lists, numbered lists
- Links
- Sections appear in the PDF with professional formatting
7. Save Your Offer
Two Options:
Option A: Save to WordPress
- Click 💾 Save button (top toolbar)
- Offer is saved to database with auto-generated ID
- You can reload it later from the list
Option B: Just Generate PDF (without saving)
- Skip saving if you don’t need to track this offer
- Go directly to Print/Share
8. Generate PDF or Public Link
🖨️ Print PDF:
- Click Print button
- Browser print preview opens
- Select Save as PDF or print directly
- PDF includes all sections, images, and branding
🔗 Generate Public Link:
- Click Generate Link button
- Secure URL is created (e.g.,
yoursite.com/offer/abc123/) - Copy link and send to client via email/messenger
- Client can:
- View the offer online
- Accept or decline with one click
- Download PDF (Premium only)
- Add comments (Premium only)
