Purpose: Load, save, delete, and duplicate existing offers

Section: Select Offer

Select offer dropdown:

• Shows list of all saved quotes from WordPress database
• Format: "OF/251126-01 — Customer Name" or "Offer 123"
• Placeholder: "-- Choose or create new offer --"

How it works:

1. Click dropdown to see all your saved offers
2. Select an offer to load it into the form
3. All fields populate automatically with saved data
4. ⚠️ Unsaved changes warning: If you have unsaved changes, you’ll be asked to confirm before loading another offer

Section: Offer Name

Offer name input:

• Purpose: Internal title for your quote (not visible to client)
• Auto-generated from: Customer name + offer number
• Example: "John Smith — OF/251126-01"
• You can edit this to anything you want for easier organization

Action Buttons

📄 New (Blank Offer)

• Creates a completely blank offer
• Generates new offer number automatically
• Clears all fields: customer, items, images, technical sections
• Confirms first if you have unsaved changes
• Date is set to today

💾 Save

• Saves current offer to WordPress database
• If new offer: Creates new post, assigns ID
• If existing offer: Updates existing post
• After saving: “Generate Link” button becomes active
• Auto-disables if you’ve hit Basic limit (10 offers)

📂 Load

• Same as selecting from dropdown
• Deprecated: Use the dropdown instead for better UX

📋 Duplicate

• Requirement: Must have an offer loaded first
• What it does:
  1. Loads selected offer data
  2. Clears WordPress ID (becomes “new” offer)
  3. Adds " (copy)" to offer name
  4. Generates new offer number
  5. Marks as unsaved
• Use case: Create similar offers quickly (e.g., monthly quotes for same customer)

🗑️ Delete

• Requirement: Must have an offer loaded first
• Confirms deletion with dialog: “Are you sure? This cannot be undone.”
• After deletion:
  • Removes from WordPress database
  • Reloads offer list
  • Automatically creates blank new offer
• ⚠️ Warning: This is permanent!

Public Link Management

🔗 Generate Link

• Requirement: Offer must be saved first (has WordPress ID)
• What it does:
  1. Creates secure URL: yoursite.com/offer/abc123xyz/
  2. Token is random and unique per offer
  3. Link is valid until you delete the offer
• After generation:
  • Link URL appears below button
  • Copy Link button becomes available
  • Link status shows as “Active”

📋 Copy Link

• Copies public URL to clipboard
• One-click sharing: Paste into email, messenger, etc.
• Works on all browsers (uses modern Clipboard API with fallback)

📧 Send Email (Premium Only)

• Premium feature: Sends offer link directly to client via email
• Email includes:
  • Professional template
  • Direct link to view offer
  • Your company branding
• Basic users: Button shows as locked with “Premium” badge
